Dr. Lauren A. Protzer is a board-eligible, fellowship trained Orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand, wrist, elbow & shoulder surgery. She completed her medical degree at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and her residency at the University of Louisville Department of Orthopedic Surgery. She went on to complete a combined Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Protzer sees patients at our Biggin Hill and Dixie Hwy locations.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog, Ippa. She has completed multiple medical mission trips, serving in Tanzania, Ethiopia and Nicaragua. She also enjoys backpacking and has completed the John Muir Trail, Foothills trail, has summited Mt. Kilimanjaro, and the Salkantay to Inca trail. Some of her other hobbies include:
